Office to Residential Conversion
SDG is leading the initiative to transform functionally obsolete commercial office spaces into downtown residential units by collaborating with key stakeholders, including building owners and lenders, the City of San Francisco, SPUR, and state legislators. SDG has led initiatives to enact the policy framework that unlocks the feasibility of these conversions. In addition to pursuing SDG investments and development projects, SDG also assists building owners, lenders and other stakeholders by evaluating specific building opportunities to determine feasibility and, where appropriate, provide development services in implementing the conversion.
